Eiederdown

Duvet care

Your duvet is crafted from icelandic eiderdown – a treasure of nature. Handled with care, it will bring you comfort for a lifetime and beyond.

DAILY CARE

Avoid sitting, rolling, or crushing the duvet, as this can damage the delicate down. Each morning, gently shake it and turn it upside down so the side closest to your body can breathe and refresh. On dry, sunny days, let it air outdoors.

PROTECTION

Always use a duvet cover of fine, lightweight quality.

CLEANING

Professional cleaning is recommended. Washing should only be considered in exceptional cases, using a large machine on a gentle program below 30°c with a mild soap for down. After washing, begin drying the duvet by hanging it on a line or in a warm oven, and finish the process in a tumble dryer to keep machine time as short as possible. During tumble drying, remove and shake the duvet several times to loosen the down. Please note that washing voids the warranty.

STORAGE

When not in use, store your duvet in the cotton bag provided. Place it gently inside without compressing, and keep it in a cool, dry space so the down may retain its natural volume and life.
